Flair Restaurant: Chapel Hill, NC
B’s birthday was in February and with our love for trying new restaurants, I wanted to take him somewhere he’s never been (and it’s an added bonus I get to tag along… and pay for it, lol). I once again researched the Piedmont’s list of great restaurants and Flair in Chapel Hill appeared; I didn’t recall ever hearing of it! It is located in Chapel Hill with excellent reviews so reservations were made!
Well, let me tell you, it was a gem! Flair is located on Governor’s Drive in the Governor’s Village Shopping Center. It has the most beautiful aesthetic and feels so trendy cool! It has a bit of an Asian feel with a gorgeous bar and dining area. And their seating was comfortable and relaxing too.
Now, on to the food and service – hello! FIVE STARS! B’s brother and his wife went with us and between the four of us, we had the dishes below, and every single one was wonderful! So was the wine, just sayin’. And as good as the food was, our server was even more so! She’d been such a joy the entire evening and didn’t reveal until the end of our meal, when we asked her how long the restaurant had been there, that she was actually the owner. She offered B dessert for his birthday, which turned out to be the best dessert ever, and then she sang happy birthday to him in Portuguese. What a great night and we’ve added a new favorite restaurant to our list!
