Burlington Beer Works

On our Wandering Wednesday last week, we stayed right in our home county of Alamance, and visited downtown Burlington. In the heart of downtown is Burlington Beer Works, much more than a restaurant, it’s an experience, and a great one! They have a beautiful dining area inside with an industrial urban feel, a great bar, and plenty of outdoor seating – you feel like you’re sitting on Main Street and you are! They also have rooftop seating that will be open soon, just in time for those great summer evenings.

You’ll see more in the video about our food, beer, and fun, but for our meal, we chose the following, and every single one, every single bite, was A-MA-ZING!
Brussels Sprouts with Honey Balsamic Glaze (OMG)
Korean Fried Chicken Sandwich with kimchi slaw, cucumber, spicy mayo, gochujang on brioche bread
Fried Shrimp Tacos with red cabbage, pico de gallo, cilantro-sriracha sauce on corn tortillas
Mexican Lager and a Spicy Margarita

More you need to know about Burlington Beer Works is that it is a co-op brewery and restaurant combination working with local farmers and vendors in every aspect possible. They are on a mission to be an integral part in the continued revitalization and growth of Burlington and surrounding areas, and by the looks of it, they are at its center. Sourcing at least half of their products within our county, the freshness of their beer and food is clear, and when you think ‘support local’ and dine at Beer Works, you are supporting so much more than just this establishment.

Note: Some of Beer Works’ partnerships locally are Wilkeshire BeefT5RedbudSmithDinnerbell, Your Local GreensHillsborough CheeseFirsthand FoodsBrasstown BeefJoyceHaw River Mushrooms and San Giuseppe Salami Co,

Beer Works invites you to consider becoming an owner and drop by for a beer if you would like to learn more.
