Brown Sugar Pretzel Bark
We love this bark so much that we made four batches throughout the holidays and before we could wrap them up for gifts, we’d eat them! We are not good sharers when it comes to something this good, lol, other than to share the recipe here. So, so, so good!

Large bag of Pretzel Minis*
2 sticks unsalted butter
1 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup dark chocolate melting wafers or baking chips*
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 deg F. Cover a baking sheet or pizza pan with parchment paper. Spread out pretzels in a single layer on top of that. *Use as many pretzels as it takes and fill in any large empty spaces as best you can. We use broken pieces to fill in gaps 🙂.
- Melt your butter in a medium sauce pan and add in brown sugar. Stir well. Bring to a rapid boil for about 3 minutes, stirring often. Reduce heat and let it slow boil for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Pour your mixture all over your pretzels slowly and it will start to seep into the crevices between pretzels.
- Place pan in oven and bake for 5 minutes.
- Remove from oven and sprinkle your chocolate all over the top, *as much as you’d like! We cover ours pretty well. It will start melting.
- Return pan to oven for 2 minutes.
- Remove from oven and using a pastry brush, gently spread out the melting chocolate until it covers the pretzels fairly well – it doesn’t have to be perfect!
- Place entire pan into freezer for at least an hour. Remove and break apart.
- Note: sometimes you have to gently peel off the parchment but we found parchment works a lot better than using foil. YUMMY!!!
